EVERYTHING WILL NOT BE FINE is a personal documentary directed by Helena Maksyom and Adrian Pirvu that follows the story of the first generation born after the Chernobyl disaster.
Traveling together Helena and Adrian find people who are dealing with the effects of what happened in 1986, but as they discover the scale of Chernobyl’s impact on a new generation, their health problems catch up with them and they have to divert their plans.
The film is a Romanian-Ukrainian co-production which had it’s international premiere at IDFA in 2020.
